An SIA Licence is a legal requirement for anyone who wishes
to work as a Security Guard.
How do I get an SIA Licence?
• Must be 18 or above
• UK/EU Resident (No work restrictions)
• Must be able to speak English at level 2
• Have gained the level 2 Security Guarding qualification
Level 2 Award in Security Guarding
• The course has 3 units:
• Working in the Private Security Industry
• Conflict Management for Security Officers
• Working as a Security Officer
You can attend a 4 day course, and after passing the exam
you may apply for an SIA Licence.
